Agra is city on the banks of the YAMUNA RIVER in the State of UTTAR PRADESH ,INDIA .

The area of Agra district is 120.57 square kilometers .IF we talk about naming of Agra, we find mention of it in the Mahabharata period, during the Mahabharata period, Agra was known as AGRABANA or  AGRAWAN.
